Yoga has been around for hundreds of years. For some people it is a complete way of life – philosophy, lifestyle, diet etc. Yoga for most people is simply a wonderful mix of stretches, postures, breathing techniques and relaxation.

Yoga has many benefits. The slow gentle stretches will help:

Yoga postures can be adapted to suit different ages and levels of fitness. It is non-competitive. You can do as little or as much as you like in each session.

Why not give yoga a try and see what it can do for you. You can be sure of a warm welcome – we aim to enjoy ourselves and meet up with other villagers as well as keeping fit.

Classes are held in Waltham Village Hall on Monday evenings: from 5.45 to 7.15 and from 7.30 to 9.00. An additional class is held at Petham Village Hall, Wednesday mornings from 9.15 to 10.45. Phone or email to find out more; see at left for Lynn's contact details.
